Default Graphic & Web Design Forum Use

I've had a few emails asking how is the best way to use the forum. I know some people may not be used to forums and it takes a little while to get used to them but all I can say is everybody's different and there's a few ways to get to see the latest posts.
I think I'm right in saying that Sarah and Flashwiz prefer to use the menu>today's posts. Where it displays the list of recently posted messages. This is one way.
Depending on how often you log on.....I tend to try and keep as I put it 'all the lights out' which is the icons down the side that are lit when a new post it present etc.
I try and keep up to date so I can clearly see when a new post is there the light 'comes on' and after I've read them it's 'off'. This is another way.

All I can say is there is no right or wrong way only what you prefer and works for you.

If any others members would like to post how they search for new posts or any tips here it might help some of the newer forum posters. (and give me a rest).

Thanks

Toon

it's all about keeping the PDA's (if thats what they are) on the left greyed out,
then you can see when something new comes in.

I also tend to work my way up from the bottom of the page, not sure why i've just always done things like that. Always start at the back of papers magazines and stuff...

actually probably originates from looking through catalogues as a kid, the toys were always at the back weren't they...

Back to front in newspaper format is a male thing I do it. Sport at back, must read sport first.

I agree, you're not on for a few hours and all the lights are back on!
