Cwilk I can't see any of them. still invisible. I had emailed that 42 connect guy who's running the BLESTO comp. he was a totall a$$ in his email. He's just trying to get a good logo cheap and if he doesn't see one he likes well he'll just choose his own and only have to pay the fee to the logosaue site. it's a rip off I tell ya.

Lol, did you see the guy wizard whatever won the office owls comp? i posted a comment saying that I was glad I did not win, so that now my design would not go to waste.

I did see your comment. ....and I don't blame you one bit. But what you do with your owls is change the name to something generic and put it for sale or don't add a name at all and sell the illustrations. Someone is bound to see them and pay you better money than on LS.

And for my logos....here is the link. I completely deleted them off of LS. I actually had four of them, but for some reason I can't find the file for one.

......and the last one is the one that Digger said was excellent. Unfortunately not excellent enough for the client to say anything about.

Cwilk, they are nice matey. But i personally wouldnt waste any more time on the blesto comp, the guy who is running it, submitted his own logo a week or so before the competition went live... not sure he is trustworthy tbh.

Okay....I went to the client's profile to see who was running the Blesto competition and the client uploaded their own logo! SO......I pulled all of mine.

andyshot.....I actually did pull the Blesto logo because of the client posting his own. See my quote (above) and from my previous post on page 21. I almost put that down in the comments, but I decided to hold my tongue.

I don't think the client should be allowed to post. I'm kind of leary now about posting any.

And both onesummer and I agree about the winner of the Proof Prototypes logo....it's not very printable and they originally asked it not to have web 2.0 look, so I'm not understanding their choice on that one.

This one looks really nice. Whether it was the first uploaded or not, look at the other competition entries - see how many have been made to look the same (esp. the typography!)

It is nice upon first glance, but the horse head facing left is not good. Also when you look at the image larger, the vector work looks sloppy. It could stand to be cleaned up a bit.

I'm not real thrilled with this client. He doesn't seem to know what he really likes. Some of them he says are great! or nice idea, but they aren't 'timeless' like his description. I'm not sure he knows what he actually wants.

I posted 3 logos early on and the horsehead looks better than some of the ones he likes by other artists, but he wanted me to try a horseshoe. Unfortunately the only way to do a horseshoe correctly is with the opening at the top or it's considered bad luck.

I'm waiting for a pro company comp, Owls? Monsters? Frogs? Logo design for the under 12's it seems!

toon, I think half of the entries to those contests are done by kids ;)

hrmmm..is he saying I didn't put any "heart" into my design? hrmm I don't think I'll give any "heart" until someone posts a contest that pays more than $100...Maybe he's right though, he is a "passenger" LOL what the heck is he talking about? terrible english; looks like he used google translator to post his comment.
