I hate that!!!!! Of course I did offer some suggestions on my Ribbons of Red, so maybe I'm a hypocrite. At least I'm not demanding. I think there's a difference b/t offering suggestions and then offering suggests in a way that makes the designer feel theirs won't be picked.

Blah!

So far, I have had no troubles.......but now LS is responsible for payment, and I have yet to be paid for the flogg.it logo contest and the contest holder is asking for the logo files and I never release files without payment first......I've emailed LS but haven't heard back yet.........

....oh, and the other thing about the Colt logo. I really dislike that the client says "nice try." What exactly does that mean? It sounds derogatory.

I'd like to make a comment on the direction it seems logosauce is going. Most recently the quality of designs submitted to competitions has gone downhill. It also feels like it is going in the same direction as sitepoint.com/contests site, meaning we've got "designers" submitting more than a necessary # of submissions showing the slightest change in a concept. For example, here's a guy (LogoSauce™ - WizardBGR) who submitted 13 concepts to the office owls comp, most of which hardly differed between each other; he either simply moved the mark above or below the text or to the side.

It's really just ashame. It feels like it's amateur hour all the time now. I do not think I'm going to even bother entering those new competitions. Besides, I don't want my work to include a freeware software archive site nor one for a business called "tounge and chic"..I just don't like it!

It's getting worse and worse, I mean f*ck me....

Should have just kept it as a logo inspiration site meaning famous logo's for discussion and ones members are building. Comp's only attract the wrong sort of people then they turn out s*it.

You can tell them I said so as well. They're just greedy and know that comps will increase their traffic stats and the amount they can charge for advertisiing on their site, if they're designers and care about it they'd stop now!!!!

Okay....I went to the client's profile to see who was running the Blesto competition and the client uploaded their own logo! SO......I pulled all of mine.

I don't understand posting your own logo when you're running the competition. I believe my Blesto logos are visible now and Digger even liked one of mine. Let me know what you think, but they aren't part of the competition any more.

I'm sorry I did them to begin with. I also agree with the name TongueNChic Dental Boutique! Who in the world came up with that name anyways? And the Freeware one is also sad. Why can't the client just plop down a font with the words. He's not going to get much else.
