Default Never work with children or animals!

Just thought i'd make a record of all this on the forum, before it gets removed from Logosauce! Hope no-one minds

by madsmith about 19 hours ago.
a) i just used the colours instead of the dark blues everyone else used adn the circle on the tummy, because i personally emailed the client and he liked the colours and circle on it. b) the legs/arms were taken from another frog design i made months ago for my portfolio c) mine doesnt even look like yours, hes fat, and hes got different limbs, and yours doesnt even look like a frog, it looks like a weird gremlin or something.

It doesn’t even look like mine? If I gave all those logos to a set of 1st graders and said, “Match the alike frogs” yours and mine would be paired together. It’s fine. I’m over it. It’s def. not about the money… more the principle.

this chicks a HUGE bitch..she wrote me AND the client rude uncalled for emails calling us names, etc.. someone needs to realize that her designs arent as good as mine i guess…since i won, you didnt, and i had a frog design from AGES ago that i took my legs/arms from…and it looks absolutely not a THING like yours, except for the colours…...you ****** idiot. :) someones on their period today… yes yes you are.. who writes a client a rude message?? you are AWFUL

xpressions. it's ****, is what I think. I just posted a comment on logosauce that said as much and hope to see Digger change that rule. If a design is not chosen, then only make the CH pay out have the prize money. I believe that is reasonable.

What do you all think about this? Seems like the perfect solution for the contest holder to select NO WINNER........

I really hate to bring this up because I can see/tell how we are all feeling this morning, but, I can't stand it!

LogoSauce™ - Owls

The way I see it, it's the same concept as onesummer's.

Please, dear LORD, let everyone see the concept and not the implementation.

dont wanna RUFFLE any FEATHERS... muahah but...

I don't see the big deal with that part, think about it, u think office, u think white shirts, khakis, tie. (viva la office space)

Office owls = Hmm, gotta have owls in it, and relate it to office work...., Putting them in a cubicle = to busy for a logo, slapping full clothes on them (wont work.)

tie is only the next logical step. :(

Plus its pretty cool how they put administrative blahblah, then the owls are lookin down like they're looking over someones shoulders (like an administrator ;p) lol
LogoSauce™ - officeowls thats the best one but eh

Onesummers is miles better than that *****... The only way the other will win is if the client thinks 'ooh pretty gradients'

I hope not.

If you look at his/her redbrick entry, he actually claims that he intentionally created the frog to be similar (or am I reading this wrong?)

(already voted) by xpressions 1 day ago. Edit | Delete

With all due respect, you didn’t see the frog entries either?
(already voted) by madsmith about 22 hours ago.

yup i saw the frogs actually, it was my first entry for this logosauce bit. and if you read what the client comments on everyones/some peoples logos, the client states what he likes/doesnt like, and i personally email them.. so then i make mine look similar to theirs in a way. i just used her colours cuz he liked that.. as for the rest, it didnt look a thing like hers, i added in my own legs/arms, and mine was a fatty one.. hers didnt even look like a frog.

oh.. and i won too that frog competition :)

I agree, but here's the "ethical part": If a fellow designer has already submitted a design that has the concept you thought about, then you should refrain from entering and try to come up with something different. Do you know how easy it is for me to go back and add a tie to my entry and mofidy it a little and then add another owl, oh, and for the finale, add a perch! As you can see, there are other entries that don't look like onesummer's at all.

(No feathers ruffled here! lol).
