hardan no offence meant here but you really need to start doing things yourself. Its ok to ask for pointers, advice and even for some designs for be done to help you from time to time but the only way you are going to progress into a fine graphic artist is to do more work yourself!

Plan? Get a sketch book, some good pencils and sketch pens and doodle! take this logo for example - draw what you think would look good (even if you not good at drawing - i suck but that just means your final digital product looks better than the drawing )

once your designed some inital concepts start creating them. If you dont know how to make a lollipop for example search for tutorials on how to make one, this way you will learn new techniques which you will later be able to use to create other graphic work!

Im sure toon, kelly, zumo etc etc didn't get to where they did today by getting other people to do work for them. Make the most of the work that you are getting and put it to good use, by creating an actual product for someone you will get real feedback from the customer - learn from experience!

just my 2p

i'll try that thanks alot but anybody posting ideas would be a great help so it would be good if people posted some logo designs and take aspects from that seen as it is a logo competition to help design the final logo

hardan - effectively taking the logo designs posted and taking aspects of them into your final design is NOT doing the work, coming up with the concept or the idea.

Listen to Joe. He speaks from experience. Go to your drawing pad, sketch/scribble a ferw things, try a few things yourself then post your ideas on here and we can pick and choose what you have, suggest improvements and help you that way.

what i don't get is why people are slightly reluctent to making logos for me but not for fellow designers like jamstreetmedia or websiteidea i post these threads coz i am not that good at designing logos so i like to get ideas and logos from the people who are experienced like toon e.t.c.
im not trying to start an argument toon just making a point

No offence but I think its because you seem to be giving up to easy. Your young and seem to have talent, and we're just trying to promote that. We're just saying you'll get more from the process that way. It just seems you've been asking for a lot of logos, without investing anytime in thinking about it yourself. I think there needs to be more about what you aiming for your thoughts. Propax tried some logo work himself, he came with a problem where as it seems from here that your just asking for logos without really understanding what we mean.
