I do see what you mean, but , the thing with these companies is that they all started small and grew, and having a logo people remember plays a considerable part in marketing and publicity, If something took 30 seconds but was superb I would pick it. I just need a nice logo or typeface.

Kelly - good but maybe abit to grungy, nice coulours though.

If that's what you want it may be worth paying a little towards a great font designer to may you a custom font, there's some really good ones being made at the moment and then get it copyrighted, not sure how much they cost but it might be an option.

Did this logo this week for a personal trainer, is it a bit more simpler and along the lines of what you're looking for but styled for a media company?
