Or is it busy as hell everywhere. I know freelancers who are outsourcing to 3 or 4 different companies. Seems 2008 is the year everybody want designs.

My year has started full of re-designs, anyone struggling to cope?

I'm working on 2 publications simultaneously as well as 2 websites and quoting another big website. I hope it keeps up like this!!!! Thank goodness I enjoyed my 2 weeks off for Christmas. : )

Its only going to be like this for another month or so, because its a new year everyones like "ohh lets get a new hardcore look!" but soon it will end. =/

And yeah where are you guys getting your work, i have been short on work recently.

The clients our company is getting are new to us (just this January) and we've never even met them. But they're not having us design because it's a new year and they want something 'hardcore'. I'm not even sure what that means.

But, if work isn't coming in, go out and look for it. Aside from the referral clients, we've finally started to break ground on iFreelance too.

Since you're in Vegas.....if you can back up your work, some places to go to are The Selling Source off of Sunset in Henderson. They are always looking for good designers. Also check out Sunkist Graphics on the other end of Sunset. Another way to find freelance clients is to drop your business cards off at new businesses. You never know who will call you back. There are a lot of clients right under your nose. You shouldn't have a problem getting work with a decent portfolio. I know this because we were there for many years.
