I think I was on around 40+ before. Fact is, it all depends on what role you play. Roles vary, as do those roles in different companies. At my last job, there was never enough work to warrant working later, though I was often bubbling away on my own projects.

My boss was a lazy ****, he wondered why he was there until 10/11pm , when he arrived late morning and then did very little all day. Cheeky git would complain to us as well. Bosses' right I guess.

Obviously those freelancing will work more than those with a steady role. This may well be an indicator to some that they are perhaps spending too long on jobs, making them less cost effective?

about 45-50 hours per week in the office.
