I've heard bad things from Vistaprint but also great things, i'm currently trying them so we'll see. Here is a list of the printers I've used, some very expensive and some pretty cheap.

PrintPlace.com - good prices for the quality
Printrunner.com - more expensive but more options i think
48hourprint.com - same as printrunner
smallbusinessprinting.com - most expensive but offer special die cuts etc.

Hope one of those helps. I don't use any exclusively but whichever is having deals. Obviously Vistaprint is always having like 80% off their cards but...let us know how it goes :)

Yeah vista do that alot... Fact is, you can't know what a printer is like till you actually try them, get like 250 cards and if you are not happy with them, go else where next time... as with everything, you get what you pay for... even from a someone/thing amazing...

If you want to test print quality every printer will send you a sample packet if you request it. I have about 5 and they are very helpful. Printplace.com's will show you how thick a 1pt, 2pt, 4 pt, etc. line will look once printed as well as what 8pt, 10pt, 12pt, arial and times new roman will look like when printed just to give you a better idea of what size fonts to use for legibility. that helps when you're starting out.
