Hi guys,
I know this question comes up loads but I'm just about to take on freelance work for a design agency in Central Scotland and was wondering if £17p/h is a decent rate to charge? I have 7 years agency experience in web and print design, and I'm leaving full time work in two weeks to work on a 8 month contract and also some freelance work. For the freelance work I'm trying to gauge a suitable hourly rate for my experience and location without underselling myself or chasing off potential work. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks loads, Rach. |

Sounds fair but many people vary their rates depending on what they are designing

I found the calculation used on BlueFlavor's website was a very good resource!
