What is This?
We have developed this hourly rate calculator to give you a guide based on your costs, number of billable hours and desired profit. It is a simple tool for you to play with.

Remember your hourly rate should always take into account factors like market demand, industry standards, skill level and experience - things that unfortunately we can't put into a calculator!

Use these calculations as a guide and then modify to suit your circumstance and conditions.

It will take you about 5-20 minutes to complete depending on how
much attention you give each calculation.

Fascinating information. Thanks Toon.

Please keep in mind that my DH and mother-in-law also work in the office with me, so you can count $25.00 per hour for my mom (she keeps my books and is my advertising manager). That basically means me and my DH split the remainder which is about $125.00 per hour (each) which is pretty decent for a small firm. And since the money all goes into the same bank account, I feel pretty good about our annual earnings.

I couldn't make all that money per hour.....if it was just me, I'd never have time for the forum. : )

She's actually chained to a Mac at school now (by her own will).

She started back last week. Her film animation class is going to learn to use Maya for 3D rendering. She's also in a regular art class and she auditioned for a play yesterday. So she's keeping pretty busy on her own.

What I think is really neat about Bethany's school is that she only goes to 4 classes a day, every other day. And she has what is considered 3 electives + dance as her fun classes. Otherwise, she's in honors classes (science, geometry and english).
