I Can't Access My Files: "Access Denied"
Windows XP | Access Denied Errors
Question: I run Windows XP Pro and I recently had to recover from a crash. When I restored my backup files and folders I get an error that says "Access Denied", even though I am logged on with Administrative rights. Read More...

What if you try booting into safemode? Can you access the files then?
