Default Mac vs. PC Survey

I'm conducting a survey on which computer platform works best for designers/artists. This is for one of my subjects in school so anyone who can answer the survey will be of great help! Here's the link: Mac vs. PC Survey

good survey, but I have some suggestions if you don't mind.

I feel some of the options given to answer some of the questions need to be revised in order to have an extra option or even two in some cases. For example, the "is easier to upgrade?" question - both platforms are pretty easy to upgrade if you know how, which makes the survey kind of biased towards macs if people simply don't know how to upgrade a windows or linux machine.

Questions such as "has easier to use keystrokes or keyboard shortcuts?" are again pretty vague as this is again depending on the platform you are used to, so if i have both platforms i would like to answer "both" or perhaps "neither". Your question on Screen size is neither here nor there as for both pcs and certaim models of mac you have to buy a monitor anyhow.

Just some suggestions for a better survey in allowing the taker to have the opportunity to answer more accurately from their point of view.

I sent these when I submitted the survey too :)

Not to mention the "Is heavier in terms of weight?" question is a pointless question. Macs have a fairly standard weight since they're all mass-produced (give or take a hard drive or 2), but i could build a pc that weighs twice as much or half as much as a comparable mac depending on what chassis i choose.

The "has more pre-installed software/tools?" question isn't opinion based. You can just look at each and see for yourself. Pointless for a survey.

In fact... most of the questions except for the ones about "has better physical appearance?", "has easier to use keystrokes or keyboard shortcuts?"(and even with that one, the keyboard shortcuts are largely determined by the software, not the OS or platform) and "has better overall value?" are pointless to have in a survey. The rest can be determined by a little bit of logic and research on the net.

You might as well have asked "has a right mouse button?" or "has shiny cables?"

This paper is mainly for us to write a concept paper in our native language. I would have loved to put more complex angles on this one but my teacher isn't exactly tech savvy. He didn't even know what an interface was. =/
