Hello. Im after a san serif font that will be readable on the web at say 7/8pt
It'll be image based. I've got it set at helvetica neue reg at the minute, but its just un-readable when published online. Any ideas?? Cheers

You could try Verdana or Tahoma - if you're doing it in Photoshop (as an image), you might need to change the anti-aliasing to "None" for readability.
This excellent article also has some free to download fonts - at the bottom it shows some that are specially designed for small sizes. |

Cheers for the link, some of the pixel fonts are excellent. I'm setting the type in AI and not PS, then outputting as an image. But these fonts will more than cover what i need thanks.
