Ok this thread went a little obscure.

Anyway, nice design and I like the idea, let us know when you have put some more content into it so we can more accurately judge what it will look like complete.

Just to help you out, doorway pages are really bad for SEO unless you are gonna pile relevant content on it.

haha yeah it looks like im having an argument with myself!

it is a doorway page, but i don't think its going to effect the SEO, the fact that all the content is in the javascript doesn't help.

I left it for a while because the way i'd developed it just wasn't going to make it easy to update - i've made another version - Aesthetic Design | James Kent | Web Design Portfolio
it uses ajax requests and has cool effects, although i've only made the portfolio section (with some sample pictures in it), just wondered if it works for you.

It is very impressive being as it has no flash in it. I'd show up the polaroids if thats not to hard to do with this and perhaps angle them a little. Only because you've done this on the paper and it works. If poss, I'd also move the text on the paper a little in from the sides, but maybe thats just me.

On the whole I like it though. Is this going to be a web design portfolio as the week suggests.

yeah, i was thinking about styling the polariods more convincingly as well adding a few cool effects when you click on them, yeah it's going to be my portfolio.

my only thought is if this is web design or print is why have them as polaroids? It would fit photography and probably work for print, but there may be a more original way for websites (as well as for print/photos). It works as it is - but it could be really interesting if there were a whole mixture of things, maybe.?
