Right, I used to work in a place called the Round Foundry Media Centre in Leeds. One of the big agencies present were http://www.designproject.co.uk/ - who are actualyl really nice too and very good at what they do. They do have the advantage of budget of course by then have some nice stuff. Even if the audio commentary is the scary mac voice.

Anyway - the real issue is http://www.team-impression.com/ - they designed this and its moire patterning of print is awful on the eyes, no?

It's a press printers trying to have a designers site. It's awful and will not go down well with the type of clients they should be targeting. Our print side's annual turnover is approximately £5 million a year so I know what I'm talking about. All people want is how cheap? and how soon?

well yes, indeed they are trying to be an up market printers. the quality is good, but they are **** in actually getting back to you with quotes and the like. so you hardly feel like trusting them with a job.

how do they clients? surely the only reason to have a site is for people to find you, otherwise it's just a case of we've got one because everyone else has!
