Default Old WordPress plugins (removing)

Hi, I must have over 10 wordpress scripts I want to remove. Anyone know of a easy way to remove them without removing the ones I want installed ? The only method I read up is just finding the files and deleting. This is easier said then done when you don't know which files go with while plugin, so I ask if anyone know a easy way to do this?

I realize this method but there is not another way? Some of the plug-in files are not in folders just mixed together?

normally not. all the plugin files for a plug are in the plugins directory.

just make a backup of all your files. than, if you should delete something you need, you can bring it up again. ALWAYS BACKUP ! :)

When ni doubt, you can go to the plugin editor and click the plugin you want to delete. It'll show up, with the plugin's filename at the top of the editable area. Then you'll know exactly what file you want to delete.
