I am not sure if web developers should really be that scared by powerful web builders like webnode that use web 2.0 technology. Think about it this way. You can use webnode.com to generate a web site extremely quickly and then sell it, or develop it more with advanced software.

The thing is not to fight the internet but to use it. I am sure webnode can be of more use to developers than a pain. It generates valid markup in no time at all.

I would agree with you on that with the basic bare bones web builders out there.

However Webnode is a next generation Web 2.0 builder. It's quite different.

Webnode let's you alter templates and layouts to the point that you can develop an original website. Basically its like dreamweaver made simple and it runs on-line.
