i don't like useless effects that distract from content.
i don't like flash in my site because the content is not selectable and/or web crawlers cannot index it like plain text.
i avoid JavaScript at all costs because the user can disable it and break the site and destroy all the things that took hours to perfect.
if it can't be read with a screen reader or if it breaks magnifiers; i don't advocate it.

CSS is god.
Content is king.
the simplest designs are usually the most potent.
all for accessibility and usability, not pointless eye-candy!

I like how it slides, but the bounce is a little much. The bounce is not very smooth (at least on my Mac). How did they do it? I Aardvarked it and it's not Flash.
