Hosting for client sites.
Just curious as to what everyone does for hosting solution for their clients? would it be worth setting up my own web server and hosting clients sites and charging for it? or hosting client sites on my web server?

Get a reseller account depending on how many sites you host, if you have clients with sites hosted all over offer them a discount on what they're paying, offer your pals cheaper hosting and move them all onto a reseller account.
United Hosting do a great one for £26 a month UK and US. Meaning if you host 10 sites all paying £5 a month you're already making a profit.
