embarking on a redesign - help

Hello All,
I am about to embark on a redesign. Its a credit union site - Kitsap Credit Union -

What do yo think is good about the site? What do you think really sucks? I would like to get ideas from some designers on how to make this site really work well.. I really appreciate any feedback on this site

Hi

From first impressions the website does not look very professional! I would start with re thinking the design of the navigation and cleaning up the layout of the web site. It may also be worth introducing some more colour into the design with a strong header section (which includes the nav)

Id have to agree - thank you - It really doesnt have a sense of "Place" either. There is no content explaining anything ( on the homepage anyway) - so used to a nice intro

Could do with setting to direct grids with Headed sections clearly padded apart from each other

No worries, If you are adding a bit of text on the homepage for an intro try to add some key words (or get the client to think of some key words) related to what they do, to help the search engines find the site
