Default giving editable access to a client

Once you have created and designed a website for client and have uploaded it to there server - host or whatever how do you give them access to change things like photos and text?

I basically need to know what the norm is for giving clients access to change content and photos themselves...

thanks in advance,

Phil Johns

put yourself on retainer with them so that with every whim they have to chance something, you get paid for it. this also keeps them from messing up the code and breaking the site, then getting mad at you for letting them be stupid. i love my clients!

There's plenty of easy to use CMS systems it's just about trying them and getting used to one

correct. contacts are like legal ducktape. they hold the world together and keep us safe.

cms' are great, but not every client wants or needs one.
if all they need is a way to upload images then perhaps twg would work for you.
