End of my Leopard problems

I did a clean install of Leopard yesterday (until the wee hours) onto an freshly erased disk and all is now good. My first install of Lep last week was an "upgrade". All my programs went to hell despite the fact that it is supposed to leave them untouched.

Of course I had to back up everything first and then reinstall all my software. This is not what I call having fun. Now I've got to go back to my backup to retrieve all the things I forgot about like printer drivers, bookmarks, stickies, browsers, address books, my music, etc etc etc.

Leopard is now rock solid and I'll finally begin to really enjoy all the new features.
My faves: Lep backs up all my files automatically to my firewire drive on the hour in a new program called Time Machine.
And Quick Look allows you to see previews of files without launching the app. Even files in folders and multi page docs such as PDFs or spreadsheets
Love that.

PS Panther & Tiger were pussycats compared to this big cat.

Okay, here's a funny story...

What I find so hilarious is that there is a so-called computer guy in my town who writes articles for a couple of newspapers (pretty much about PCs) and in his recent article he took a jab at Leopard because of the install problems. Now isn't that like someone with a Yugo trying to hype their car because the new stereo in his buddies Porsche didn't work properly the first time?

It's like one of those MAC/PC commercials. Kind of comical.

I have had not one issue apart from the fact that any corrupt fonts you have it won't even let you near them

(But I'm all for that)
