Hey All,
I have been doing freelance on and off since I got out of college ( a few years I guess ). Almost all of my work is for web development. Unfortunately, back-end coding is not something I dabble in at all. I always find myself getting the same questions from clients. "Well, how will I update this myself in the future?" How do you all deal with that question? Since I do not know database, clearly I don't have a way for a client to edit their content without potentially screwing up the whole website. I just do it for them, and tell them that I will. How do you all deal with this situation? Do you charge extra? I would love to hear your thoughts and solutions! Thanks!! Renee |

Tell them to get off their ass and in their pockets and pay you when they need it updated ;\
Seriously though, Drupal/Joomla. Plenty of CMS's out there.
