What (kind of ) (color) background?

I'm working on my own website and I already have designed most things (excluded my logo from the website). But I can't figure out which/what kind of background I should use and what colour! Do I use a nice photo as background? A color or a gradient? And if so, what colour(s)? I just can't figure it out for myself. If using a color I would like to add 1 more color to the website's pallette. Anyone have a suggestion? An example of my website is in the attachments. My logo has a white graphics part and black font/name part.
