Nah, it's mootools so it's pretty much copy/paste and tweak what you need to so I didn't actually type it. Didn't do anything visually though either.

Ok, it's almost finished, and I came to the validator to find CSS is perfect (pretty easy stuff though). But my home page had 36 errors! Some of them are schoold boy errors, such as not closing properly, but the rest I've never seen. I have a feeling that this is due to me doing the site in Notepad, and not closing a div properly. See the XML parse errors further down the page. What's causing this atrocity?


EDIT: ALL FIXED! Except one error related to PHP output, but I'll find a workround.

All of this "you're not a hand coder because you're doing it in DW" is making me ill. I'm a traditional artist and what I'm hearing is that I'm not an artist because I use the computer for my art now? Whether it's Illy or PS, I'm still an artist. The computer is just an extension of my paint pallette. I hate it when people say, "The computer did it for you." That's just not true.

So, if you know how to hand code, you are a hand coder. I'm not a big DW fan, but if you're able to take what you've done in DW out of it and tweek it, you are in fact a hand coder. If you can't take it out of DW and tweek it, then hands down you're not a hand coder. It's not that difficult to understand.

BTW....I'm a hand coder. I don't use software for websites because I really don't have time to learn another piece of software. I've been hand coding since 1995 and while I'm not a programmer, I know enough to be dangerous. : )
