Steps in your Web Design Process?
Im working on a blog about the basic steps in the web design process...
I was just wondering what basic step everyone took in creating a webpage from the moment you get a client to the time when the final payment comes in.

Very generally:
1) Brainstorm, get concepts (sketch on paper) 2) Develop concepts, still on paper 3) Photoshop mock up (at correct size and scale (ie. 200px header drawn in PS @ 200px)) 4) Start slicing into DW 5) Build master page (usu. homepage) 6) Get building 7) Invoice

1. Think for about 5 minutes on a general idea
2. Open photoshop and start designing 3. Come up with more ideas while designing, and completely change direction 4. Open notepad 5. Code 6. Check in firefox 7. Check in IE 8. Code 9. Check in firefox 10. Check in IE 11. Code. 12. firefox 13. IE 14. Repeat 1 to 40 times depending on stuff 15. Finish up. I completely forgot bout the firefox/ie when i wrote the first one, had to redo it

Since I only design, I pretty much spend my time thinking at the visual effects.
I sketch on a sheet of paper first untill I like it, then go in Photoshop and improvise. That's what I do mostly. Everytime I design something..I take a break..do something else that I enjoy, then come back and look at the design: I may see something different. Of course, it's always good to do something you like and you feel you want. It's easy.
