Default need some names for my website and portfolio etc.
The domain is currently bw-online, but I know want it to be something unique and something that is going to stay with me for my designs and photography.

I was thinking of some...

voyd media, voyd designs.

v.design

Anymore suggestions?

Toon is trying to stear you in the right direction for hitting the search engins.. like when somebody googles "photos" or "designs" you'll place in the top based on your site name.
But what Mack is saying is also a good idea if you intend to develop & brand your name. It takes longer, but is mint once you achieve it. I would start with an easy to remember business name such as toon pointed out and after you are well established, spin off onto your own name as your branding
