connection down mate, but i personally think such a thing is useless - web 2.0 is all about internet technology advancement not a set guideline everyone should follow for colours and graphics

I agree. BUt you cant argue the fact that many web 2.0 styled websites foolow a traned in thier color scheme.

The sheet is just ment to help others follow the trend should they choose to go that route.

I agree on both ends. you can argue the 2.0 trend was followed by distinctive characteristics such as reflections and colors.

I am understanding web 2.0 style usually with large fonts, simple white spacing and the little bit of shiny effects

About your design..I think you need some brighter colors + you should work on some details (there's a green stroke on the search bar)
