Default Laser, Optical or Ball Mouse

I use a Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000

Microsoft® Laser Mouse 6000

It is so responsive. Best mouse I have used and works on any surface. On my sofa, on carpet, anything... well not in the bath but you get the idea.

Also only got 2 extra buttons for back and forward which is plenty.

What do you all use and why?

I don't use a mouse - ever - for anything!!
I use a graphics tablet for graphical work and a trackball for everything else.

Fair enough. I have a design friend who also uses a wacom for everything. If is so funny trying to see him use a mouse. It is like it is the most weird device to use. ha ha

One good reason for using a trackball; for me at least, is; it never falls of the edge of a matt.

my last boss used the wacom as a mouse and i was bloody frustration when i had to search for something on her machine.

i'm not sure what mine is - optical i think - it's the scroll wheel mac mouse but not the mighty mouse

I use a trackball too, mice are just weird - although I do need to use one in work, so I am proficient in both!

Have you seen the video clip of the German guy, who gets so frustrated with his computer that he smashes his keyboard up?
Well that's me when I have to use a mouse that is.
