Are ecards as simple as they seem? I have no experience electronic designs. i've been in print all my design life and i want to try cards. Can anyone help me with the basics of ecard design?

Welcome aboard, do you mean ecards as in the interactive greetings cards or as in electronic business cards?

I'm referring to the greeting cards. some are animated, some are not. I would like to know if there are standard sizes, programs etc that one should use when creating them.

They are usually Flash cards and there's more money in print than in e cards unless you've got a really unique product!!

I've got one if you're really serious, imagine a guy putting the date of his wife/girlfriend/love etc. Birthday/Aniversery etc. Once and every year on that date sending out an e card for like a $5 subscription every year, then you'd be on to a winner!!
