Default displaying jpegs help please :D

hey there,

I'm in the process of updating my website and was wandering (this may sound a little naive as im not a website designer at all) but sites such as www.logosauce.com and http://www.rasterized.org/ display their jpegs in this cool way which doesnt require a pop-up.

I assume its a flash thing but how would i incorperate this method of displaying images into my website?
as currently mine has popups which i feel creates more "faffing around" than this flash way of displaying the images.
(I have flash so i can incorperate it into my html site i assume?)

anyway lol hope u experienced guys can help me out

cheers,
Tommyboy

Lightbox is buggy and requires a bit of manipulation if you ever want to display something other than a plain picture, ie: forms, or other data.

Do yourself a favor.. check out HighSlide that Toon suggested, very nice, resizable and draggable as well.

Make sure the JS file is pointing to the images folder.

mannnn.. unfortunately I know exactly what you mean. Guess there was no need to point the JS toward files that don't exist huh... Thats funny, glad you got it straightened out.

I like Lightbox, not a bad effect... but you will see comments on "oh no not another lightbox" splattered throughout the web. That highslide is way cool.. I intend to use somthing similar for forms and such I think.
