Default Video Streaming

Hey guys (and girls),
I have a client who wants to stream videos on his website. I wasnt entirely sure how to actually stream videos so i'm crying out for help :P
Anyone done this before? The videos are small wmv files.

Thanks in advance,
Nick.

HUGE bandwidth requirements.... live streaming? What exactly is it he wants to stream?

There are plugins available to. Search Google !! Also Windows has a plethora of information on their various sites.

Its a matter of creating a table or div and inserting the plugin. I'd almost say go flash on it.

He wants to stream a range of trampoline training videos which are recorded so no live streaming involved (I think). Do you know of any sites that would guide me the right way? I have had a good browsing but they all seem to tackle the problem differently.

Just Google "Embed wmv in html" you will find everthing from generators to tutorials..
It can get complicated, depending on the outcome you are trying to achieve. So just pick the style you want and work with the tutorial.
Me, I tend to put the files in a folder and an icon in a div tag and let the enduser choose what they want and let them download it.. I am not a fan of embedded video most of the time.. I would say at best, put a clip embedded and then give them the option of downloading the whole movie. You'll probably save a TON of bandwidth that way.
