I think it looks all right. But it's one of those things you can't fully assess until you see it on a web page.

I think the stroke on the buttons may be too much. It looks good above though.

i agree with tommy, very cartoon like - not something to use if you want to advertise a "profesional" design service but fine if you deesign comics

I like big flashy purple buttons with tiger stripe backgrounds, with shoddy women and big bloated tables....

Really though, I agree with crisp and clean. I would just look at w3csites or one of those and see what catches your eye. Then develop your OWN idea that you feel best represents YOU. Make your own personal statement in as professional manner as possible.. like if some 53 year old suit were to look a t it and buy your services. If you feel you are better represented by a cartoonish layout, then by all means do it.

Do sites need headers these day, most have a nice coloured graduated stripe and a search box along the top and more time is spent on the content looking good. (CSS Beauty for instance)
