Default The Worst Part Of Web Design

You know the worst part of web design is starting a new site. I never know where to start on the design!

I like starting, it's when you've been working on one too long and the clients made too many bad design decisions and the project just feels stale

I love designing a new site.
I have a nice big art book and a back of 24 Crayola pencils a 6B pencil, sharpener and a ruler. then.. let your imagination run wild on paper, create and inspire.

I'm designing a new myspace at the moment and I can't wait to really get going on it at the weekend. I've basically got a blank canvas of about 800x800 to fill. The only problem is, I'm very new to Illustrator so it's going to be a pretty big challenge getting all my ideas onto the screen.

I agree! A new site is really exciting - I work in Photoshop first and creat basic page layout. That way, if I find something I like I save it into my 'Scrapbook' file for later use!

If I'm stuck for ideas, I often do a randon google search and look at the websites that come up for inspiration.

It's a nice time to search the web and see what others are doing before you start.

I hate it when things drag on too long

Yes I like the beginning as well, coming up with the idea... and making the graphics... but when I have to update the site, I get bored...

Well, where's the fun if not when starting a new design? Working on the same site always? Naa.
Starting a new site is always a test of your imagination. Probably a pencil and a sheet of paper may come handy so have fun ;)
