Default Fireworks

I've had a copy for ages and due to my dislike of macromedia products I've never opened.

The only thing I know it does is it has a menu builder. Can someone explain what it does, people that have used it could show me examples I'm just curious and too damn lazy to explore it or even google it.

it is very good, it is like a mixture of illy and photoshop, you can do vector work, but it also has advanced image editing facilities, i suggest you try it out and decide for yourself though!

i use it when i need to do something quickly because the load speed is 10x quicker than ps and illy, but most of the time it just sits there unused!

Actually in one of my classes I saw a great use for Fireworks, you can save a library(Pictures, icons, etc) to go with your project, I also saw how it gives you the ability to have different looks for the project you're working on, It also has the ability to create a gallery using the different variations that you may have come up with in the project your working on then it allows you to setup a slide show that you can send to the client, showing the different ideas you came up with or color schemes.

I never really used it myself but after seeing it being used I can see how useful it can be. This may not be the best explanation of it's uses but just know it has some really neat features.
