Default Terrible Nav

This has to be one of the worst navs I've ever seen you can only go one way.

Very poor, can only navigate in a linear fashion. Incredibly bad usability.

I quite like it, the idea of having his whole portfolio put into a slide show is brilliant, all the contact information is there. and his work gracefully slides across, i don't see why you would need much/if any navigation at all especially if you want only want to show off some work. Kelly and james, this guy is just trying to be creative! and i admire that.

Toon, you can navigate right/left.. just hover your mouse towards the right/left hand side of the screen.

See that's the point if you don't notice navigation or have to go looking for it it's very poor. Why have the play and pause button in the middle highlighted and have to search for hidden buttons. This is an example of poor navagation and bad accesability.

That's the point who's going to spend time on a site you have to search navigation.

It is bad if people can't find it.

That this has to be explained indicates the navigation isn't very intuitive. Better to have the buttons visible at all times. Secondly, this seems to be more a print carryover -- an attempt to bring print-centric layout thinking to the web.
