Default E-commerce

Has anyone had experience with e-commerce systems that also have content management system?

I have a client who is wanting an online shop that i can design but will allow them to add and update products and change content.

As there are so many out there i would see if you can recommend any specific e commerce products?

I know someone who used http://www.bluepark.co.uk/ trouble was he said the clients were thick as.... well you know.

And they still couldn't work it, but he said they struggled using a calculator so.

Although it doesn't have a CMS I think oscommerce is very user friendly. We usually change a lot of the content pages in the software so they can be edited easily through the html editor we provide with our hosting.

i thought i would update you on things. an associate of mine recommended a site called stuff and nonsense which is by a guy called andy clarke who is well respected web developer.

He wrote an article about an e commerce solution around xmas time that i have been looking into and i have to say its looks pretty darn good!

Called tradingeye, incorporates a very user friendly CMS and is php driven with css!

Trading eye looks lovely and I can see much potential it has in terms of layouts. It's on a bit on the pricey side and I think most people would prefer the free options available to them.

They had a spelling error on their demo site which I fixed lol
