Taco Software - Taco HTML Edit for Mac OS X
I thought that Notepad++ sounded quite interesting, as I want to learn to code basic html (use Dreamweaver currently).. Anyone know if you can get this for Mac? Or a lovely Mac alternative?
Or in a roundabout way, should I just hand code in DW? (although i'm sure someone mentioned that it can sometimes make changes to your work)
So many questions...!

Hand coding in DW is fine, as long as you don't combine hand code with its WYSIWGY there's no worries.
I like how I can organize and manage sites in DW
Me too.
That is handy, especially if you need to rename a file, and it then sorts the changes across the site.. So I wont abandon it just yet!
I'll have a look at Taco as well. Also found Aptana this morning, so lots to play with...
Thanks guys
Yeah.. heard of it.. I just didn't want to learn a new tool when I was already happy with my current setup.
I think Alfred (afox) uses it and maybe Ian too.. they could probably tell you more about it.
I use Taco on occasion too. (I pale to you all when it comes to programming/coding! I still need my WYSIWYG!) They just updated it to 2.0beta, and has a few new features like code completion. They still have the older version for download too, if you are looking to do the coding all yourself.
taco is really cool i used it for a while but then i changed to smultron and i haven't looked back! :D
