thanks, the border s gone, i knew alreay how to do that, but it is a while since a made a website... I just forgot it.

Alanis, you say, use the right tools, which tools are this?
I always learned to work with tabels in school and at my work, also i took some lessons in evening school, also there they work with tabels.
Look at successful, market leading websites like Amazon, Ebay, Yahoo, and Dell. They all use HTML tables

For example, what is rong with: Kéo Keukens - Pure Nostalgie
and: Harmony Color and Style | Downloads

I can make website in 2 ways: flash and html, but i really want to learn more if there is more to learn!

What other ways are there? I really don't like to work with div layers!

Large e-commerce sites can be built with CSS - it is just quite difficult to do.
For the two sites you've shown - the developer should be shot lol. Tables as a means of layout are inaccessible, obsolete, overweight and rubbish.

What you say about being taught table based development I can believe and empathise with, but that was then and times they are a changin'. CSS and (tableless) xHTML are the norm now.

As far as learning CSS, it's very simple to get the basics. Try these:
CSS For Webdesigners - 613 helpful links for webdesigners
Web Developer's Handbook | CSS, Web Development, Color Tools, SEO, Usability etc.

Good luck, and remember - if you need help, that's what we're here for :)

Check again.
Amazon and Dell use tables in conjunction with div and span tags (+css). They are not pure table layouts.
Ebay and yahoo use divs primarily (except in some small areas where tables are appropriate).
All of those sites have been around since before css layouts became popular so it's just easier for them to stick with what they know. That doesn't make it right.

Also many ecommerce sites use them for the correct use which is tabular data, alot of php functions take a users typed answers and then places the data into the site, this is the correct form of using them.
