Cyberduck is my fave but I get a little over excited at times and have a bit too much going on and it does crash, I think the key is to take your time. This has only started under Leopard.

cyberduck is mine, but toon is right - you do need to run it on its own or it can spaz out.

I like FireFTP add-on for FireFox... although I typically just use the built in client in Dreamweaver.

Firefox' addon FireFTP is pretty decent but I used SmartFTP for a while now, nothing ever made me want to change it.

I like FileZilla, but not their current version. The current version is actually lacking some features compared to previous versions. I use V 2.2.31.

I had issues with FileZilla until I learned to tune my installation. One thing that was messing me up was the "use multiple connections" setting under queue. I have to turn it off or I experience a lot of time outs and errors. It seems that enabling passive mode in the firewall settings has helped too.

I need to figure out how to do that sometime. I've tried a couple times (unsuccessful) and end up just going back to my rubber duckie (Cyberduck).

It's quite simple really.. they have good documentation on their site if you run into problems. The only issue I ever had was setting the Passive mode check box.
