Hello there -

Please help me someone, I have been using Flash on my Macbook Pro for around 1 and a half years now, running CS3 suite - and this problem has bugged me from day one:

The keyboard shortcuts suddenly do not work! How odd is that? This has happened THREE times today alone, which forced me to finally try to solve the riddle.

Does anyone have any ideas? When jumping to other applications such as photoshop etc the keyboard shortcuts work fine. I have tried changing the shortcuts set from my own to the default etc, but nothing apart from a laptop restart fixes it.

Also, to make the problem even more bizarre, certain shortcuts still work fine, such as pressing ALT when zooming (toggle between zooming in and out) plus the function key shortcuts.

The primary problem shortcuts that break are the toolbar ones, such as K-paint bucket, N-line, R-rectangle, V-selection arrow etc.

Any pointers would be appreciated! I do not even care if it is something really obvious and I look silly!
