stickyness in flash!?

Anyone experience this or know what's up? when playing back my flash movie it sometimes runs smoothly, and other times it sticks on a particular frame for about a second. There's no action script where it's sticking...

does it happen when you export and preview it? or only when you play through the time line?

it doesn't happen when i hit enter, doesn't happen when i hit ctrl+enter, but then if I hit ctrl+enter again with the window open (to view the preloader) it happens then. I uploaded the swf and it happens there too.

that's it. though I just checked it on my home PC (i was at work til 1/2 hour ago) and it seems fine. Maybe it's my dodgy work computer...

Ok, just tried out the .fla on my PC at home and it's doing the same thing when you simulate download (Ctrl+Enter with the test movie window open).

Hmm, who knows. Just so long as it doesn't do it when it's finished!

Well it's downloading so fast here that i can only see the preloader for about 1 frame before it continues. What's it showing when you have the bandwidth profiler turned on?
Is it actually freezing or is it just that you're trying to load too much into the first frame?
And what speed are you testing it for?
