I love the layout it's nice and fresh and great colors. My only question would be why use flash, if it's just for the animated nav it seems a bit of waste. You could easliy have done it using CSS and if anything it could fill the page a little.
But just regards to the layout I think it's a great start.

Yeah, its got some really nice lines and its clean. As a personal thing, I'd make that background a little less moire like, as in large quantities thats going to hurt. (don't get me on a rant about team!). And as Toon says, why in flash? Unless you're intending to do transitional effects or the like or have the panes resize per page then I'd opt for the more accessible CSS option.

It seems like the size of the content is the big issue here. Over all, i actually like the width to be between 670-770px. But i usually judge by the content that i have to work with. I viewed the site on a 24 inch wide screen, and i thought it looked fine... but maybe i should re-evaluate the sizing.

the Flash/CSS war continues... I think i will consider CSS, but i like the smoothness and transitional capabilities of Flash. By the way has anyone ever hurd of SDK technology? Integrating Flash with SEO. Its my reasoning for using Flash.

check it out. it may give some insight:

Don't get me wrong I wasn't choosing CSS over flash for SEO reasons, I just felt the site as it was didn't quite use enough of flash's capabilities to require the use of flash, it's a case of if you can do it using CSS layouts why bother with flash.

interesting read but this is what google sees of your site..

http://209.85.165.104/search?q=cache...&hl=en&strip=1

and this is your competition..

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...e+Search&meta=

got board after the first 50 entries.

Don't mean to be offensive but your posting links about how great flash seo is and it doesn't seem to be working.

Toon,
No offense taken on any of the feeback. CSS is something that i have to get more familiar with. Since i have been building flash sites for a while, it is kind of a comfort zone to me. I only hand code if i need to. It really depends on the needs of the client.

Laura Lynne

The link i refered to about SDK tech was simply to give insight to technologies that some may not know about. I have use it before, but I did not use it for theStudio23.net, which is why you got the results you did when you searched for my site.

No offense but If you don't like it or understand it don't use it. Its as simple as that. I am not a representative for Adobe and have no reason to prove that flash is better or worse than anything else. I'm just sharing information
