Default Input fields in movieclips

Hi all,

I am having a little trouble with a contact page I am making as when I test the movie, you can not type in the input fields. The reason why (I think) is that I have the fields inside a movieclip with the page, and then I have this movie clip inside another so I can the page moving up and down constantly on the stage (to look like it is floating).

I was just wondering whether there is any kind of scripting I could use which would refer to input fields or whether the idea of moving input fields in movieclips is an impossible thing to do.

thank you for your time, any help would be appreciated (as it is driving potty!)

Kate

No, on the property inspector they are set to input text. If that is what you mean otherwise I am not sure.

so what your saying is you have a form, thats constantly floating around the stage? that doesnt seem to be the best idea when it comes to generating a lead.

Thats a tough thing to trouble shoot without lookin at your file.

yeah basically it is constantly moving subtly up and down on the stage. the form is inside two movieclips, the first is static, the second moves it up and down. i can try and send it to you but it's a bit big.

thank you so much for your replies and I hope you won't hold my stupid against me in future threads (I am usually not so dim, well not always anyway)

Thanks again
