User editable content in flash

hey guys, i have a client that wishes to have a flash site but wants to be able to update their own content.

Can anyone help me with this?

I didn't think you made the content XML,, I thought the Flash file pulled the info from an XML file a bit like a php include. Change the XML file, change the flash content

it isnt making an xml file for me or is there a command within flash for it?

If you don't know XML it would be a good idea to learn it before trying to implement it in Flash

i no bits and pieces,

but the client in question wanted a flash site and has only now said they wish to edit the content.

Just looking for a way they can do it easily and the xml editor from flashden is exactly what i was looking now i just need to get the xml from the flash file.

^spn...i might be misreading your posts, but sounds like your a little off ...

flash wont make the file... you make the XML file/Text File etc etc with variable fields etc and then you use those same identifers in Flash... and point flash towards the file that YOU have created..
