Hellraiser movies
Hostel 1 & 2 (although they're more chiller's than horrors) The Fog Texas Chainsaw Massacre House of Wax (this made me cringe in places) Halloween (dated now) House of 1000 Corpses (******* terrible story, but horror nonetheless) The Amytiville Horror (the old one though) The Wicker Man (again, the old one though) The Dark City (not horror, but awesome movie) Gothika (s'pose this'd be ok.) 13 Ghosts (If you're desperate) Land of the Dead (never seen it, to be honest) Saw 1 2 3 or 4 (we all know about those) Chucky (and all following sequels) Candyman. Phantasm 1 & 2 (oldies, but surprisingly good.) They Nest (never seen this one, is a creepy crawly one) The Shining (as per toon) The Tommyknockers (this is good) Alien or Aliens (believe it or not, this is horror) Nosferatu (Horror, but so old as to not be scary) Sleep Hollow (couldn't tell if it was horror or not The Blair Witch Project (err..) From Dusk Till Dawn (good, good.) The Hills have Eyes 1 & 2 thats about all i can think of off the top of my head >.<

i've seen all these... lets add my 2 cents for free!
Hellraiser movies always good! Hostel 1 & 2 (although they're more chiller's than horrors) made me sick to my stomach... i'm not a gore fest fan. The Fog boring but oddly entertaining Texas Chainsaw Massacre killings to 30's jazz wtf!? House of Wax (this made me cringe in places) dull Halloween (dated now) allways fun! House of 1000 Corpses (******* terrible story, but horror nonetheless) this was directed by rob zombie... that right there says it all The Amytiville Horror (the old one though) the scariest part is a jumping cat The Wicker Man (again, the old one though) the classics are always the best! The Dark City (not horror, but awesome movie) freaking great flick this one! Gothika (s'pose this'd be ok.) stupid. don't do it! it's the "battlefield earth" of horror! i would recommend "the cell" over this... and that's bad! 13 Ghosts (If you're desperate) very desperate. Land of the Dead (never seen it, to be honest) your better off. Saw 1 2 3 or 4 (we all know about those) perdictable. Chucky (and all following sequels) hysterical! (actually called "child's play") Candyman. decent for what it is. Phantasm 1 & 2 (oldies, but surprisingly good.) those orbs rule! They Nest (never seen this one, is a creepy crawly one) tremmors is better in every way. The Shining (as per toon) the new one is more to the book but the old one is just classic. The Tommyknockers (this is good) stupid. (i'm not a king fan) Alien or Aliens (believe it or not, this is horror) preditor is along the same lines... kinda Nosferatu (Horror, but so old as to not be scary) clasic vampire... you cant go wrong. Sleep Hollow (couldn't tell if it was horror or not i hate johnny dep. the only film he was good in was "Edward scissorhands". The Blair Witch Project (err..) followed by a comatose drooling of boredom From Dusk Till Dawn (good, good.) more like awesome, awesome! The Hills have Eyes 1 & 2 it had it's moments. ill add some! XD Friday 13th (one, two, Fredy's coming for you!) John Carpenter's Vampires. Puppet master (there are 8 so take your pick... they fill in all the history each film so it really doesn't matter. but dolls killing Nazis is just cool.) Pumkinhead! Something Wicked this way comes (great film) psycho (my favorite series of all time! Norman Bates is the guy next door kinda scary!) return to oz (the most ****** up thing you will ever watch) donny darko (close second to "return to oz") Salem's Lot (the new and old are equally good imho) Poltergeists! (i totally almost forgot about that awesomeness!!!!) children of the corn (ear-ily creepy... pardon the pun.) pet cemetery (scared the hell out of me years ago.) night of the living dead (the original... the new one sucked.) dawn of the dead (also gotta go with the original) soilent green (not horror but still a good suspense) shaun of the dead (a modern classic) IT! (flipping awesome film despite being based on Kings work) army of darkness (just to make the list complete) the steptford wives (more of a dark comedy but still worth the watch. old or new don't matter.) there are tons more but those are all the keynote ones.

i always confuse the titles of "halloween", "friday the thirteenth", and "nightmare on elm street". the films are somewhat similar in plot but the villains are nothing alike.
