When I insert a logo inside of it the resolution of the logo was so bad. I cannot see the logo clearly. I wonder why?

I already try to create another page with the same height and width and increase the resolution. Yet, when I do that the height and width changes.

My point is I am trying to create an ID card with a good looking logo - with a clear resolution. Every time I insert to large logo and decrease the size the resolution seems to decrease rapidly.

Any suggestion?

Basically I have a client who I have done work for before, he is starting a different business and basically there is going to be A LOT of work, everything you can imagine within a full company brand package and then some. However, he made it very clear today that I nee to do one thing first and that is to find out the pan-tone number of a logo design which he has (I am going to update it and make it more professional), but he needs to know this pan-tone number as it is opened in ai... He went on to say that this is because the printing is going to be done in China and we need the correct number before we do anything as the entire workload will need to have the same and correct pan-tone number.

If you have ever used them, you know how great they are. There is like a 3 point arc tool, an edge sharpener, straight line tool, a curve tool, and a few others. It amazes me that Illustrator doesn't have tools like this. Anyone know of a program that may be cheaper than flexi sign, or an illustrator plugin that has similar tools? Thanks in advance.

I know you should really design logos in AI and I always have done, but I cannot workout how to get this drawing into AI as a vector with the same style, if it is a vector up-scaling won't be an issue. Stupid I know, but I had done work from them ongoing for a couple of months and they had always paid.

Now they've gone incommunicado on me with two invoices outstanding. It's only for 3 hours work, and I could walk away I guess, but it's the principle really.
The number I had been using now says 'not recognised' when I call it and the guy is ignoring emails to both addresses I have for him.
I've just been on his site and taken down the work I had done, and sent an email saying he's in breach of copyright if he puts it back up without paying what I'm owed.

What do I do if he puts them back up? I know most people might tell me it is most likely always better to have a site created from scratch from a web designer but just for information anyways, I am thinking of purchasing 3 or 4 moto cms templates. I have researched on the internet and most reviews say very good things about moto.

However, I spoke with a web designer where I live and he said not to buy them so with that being said I am not sure if he is just trying to sell me on his services or moto is bad. Is there any way someone can tell me if what he said below in an email is true or not thanks in advance or even if you have used moto what was your experience. I will say the reason I like them is they have many different styles and nice sites. I am not wanting to get flash sites only the html sites, I understand flash is bad already.

I have checked out MOTOCMS and honestly, it has a huge amount of flaws. I have tried playing with these templates for over 3 weeks now and these are the things I found out. I tried both versions html based and flash based like I told you don’t go for flash period but as a designer I wanted to play with the flash based sites. For you html is the way to go. I used about 6 or 7 of their demo sites on separate accts. I will give my opinion.


There is no direct editing of the HTML code involved; there is no way to view the Cascading Style Sheets, and a few more things.

This is a neat drag and drop application but it is not realistic for a professionally done web site. You are not able to view the code if it breaks and you are stuck in between the templates boundaries. There is no such thing as "page from scratch" (like you think) I cannot take the template you purchase and delete some of the elements or add sliders or anything to these templates as I can "with a page from scratch I design". The navigation is not simple and is very difficult, as far as I can tell you cannot even do something as elementary as changing the background colors. The actual figures or people is what I actually want to recreate with my own twist of course but I have no idea where to start.. I have made attempts only to end up with adobe trace image look alikes... nothing with as much detail and clarity.

Or if you go to j3concepts VIA deviant ART and find his icon set.. he has a pretty good examples in there aswell..

So I am asking does anyone anywhere know how I can get going in the right direction... Any tutorials...vids or articles on this type of work....
