I actually made this in the last Easter Holiday,
(I didn't upload them because I was so depressed in the past weeks)
I always love drawing "lines" since I can never get the curves well
(my hand shakes so badly, but I can do Calligraphy, haha...)
Please tell me what is wrong with it,
Cuz I also feel like it is too boring with almost the same pattern in the whole letter A,
So I think there will be triangles and lines, to make different shapes more than just joining them all together...
Your ideas?

By the way, I used a mitsubishi um-151 black ball pen for drawing this,
and it is actually what I use for doing homework also :robot:
Since I can't afford some really fine art pens :starwars:

What's the first thing that comes to your heads when you see these? The designs are primarily targeted to university students, however they do need to look serious enough for sponsors too.

I think what strikes me as the area in need of most improvement is the text, so ideas on how to approach that would be appreciated.

I guess the icon is more important however, and needs to be the most memorable part of this so would love to hear your thoughts on the two icons too, as well as how it all fits together.

I'm a bit concerned about my choice of text size for the bottom half, and the coloring - do those work for you?

I am half way through a site design for my launch scheduled in May and I was wanting to know what some may think right now.

The site is an intro to my freelance company and this particular single page site will only be up for about a year till I have time to develop the WordPress edition. I did implement some new things I wanted to try out, such as BoilerPlate and CSS3 animations and transitions. I haven't completed the site yet and I still have to code the form with jQuery and php validation, finish iPhone portrait, iPad portrait and IE jQuery fall back. The entire site is PURE CSS3 so yes the ipad, kindle, and logo is pure code if wondering :punk: That was a big thing I wanted to do here. I am having some interesting issues for the iPad when I implemented a click-able modal contact form but that is for further testing.

I'm working on a project for work, basically an "RVA" logo for the city of Richmond, VA (USA). This will be for use on different products, including car magnets, stickers, t-shirts, hats, etc. We've chosen a favorite typeface but came up with dozens of variations (FYI Richmond is often referred to as the "River City", hence the river variants.)

The question for this critique is this: Do you think this would make a good product? If so, which variant would be the most appealing and effective? Is there any specific changes you would make?

You would be surprised at how difficult it is to change that. Also, purchasing doesn't work. The pictures are all similar because I don't have the money to buy the products at this point.

I'm looking to have my website up but was hoping I could get some feedback and tweak a few things first

I plan on making it responsive so I'll be really pushing myself here as responsive design
is something I'm still coming to terms with.

The fonts are from both google fonts and the league of moveable type.
The graphics are all vector so I will most likely go the svg route. Only used it once so I'm not really
confident with it either but I know its a better option

The wording is crap at this stage really, just spotted a few typos so please bear with me on that.

If anyone has got a few minutes to spare, I would greatly appreciate their input.

Since this is for a school project, I do need to make sure to get a few things, such as:

- What I do well
- What I need to work on
- Which areas I do best in
- How well I present myself

and anything else you might be able to think of, also if you could post your name, website, job/title etc... Anything to lend credibility to your critique, this would be greatly beneficial. (if you are not comfortable sharing your information, your feedback is still valuable to me without it!)
This project is due right away so I'm a bit desperate for some feedback right away. I only need a paragraph or two, nothing too intensive.
