Harry - beware of tiscali - trhey continued to trey to take dd's out of my account for 6 months after I'd cancelled my contract with them

ha ha, me too... only noticed they had been doing it last month. I tried to cancel when I moved out but they said that it I might as well just let the contract run out rather than pay the remaining 5 months up front.

(mistake number one) I obviously being a trusting soul never thought about the fact it would just stop after 12 months were up. They have now said I need to call up again and cancel the contract as well as my phone line which was with them too - that I had also been told would be shut down!

The easier thing alison is to delete the dd on your online banking...and with anything you cancel...

I only got BT since I needed the line first - god knows if i'd not since they had to make changes at the box to have me connected - not even virgin or tiscali will help you there.. (note the ' this requires a bt line in their small print...
